Thought I had MG

drooping eye and half of face last Thursday morning...finally went to ER on insistance of other half...CAT scan showed no signs of stoke or the like..bloodwork, no infection, so Iit was eliminated to viral inflammation of facial nerve, erg, Bells Palsy...on predisone and acyclovir...the pred is working,  tho had some side effects like back pain and strangley some insomia and anxiety..third day of meds, and nomore tearing of drooping eye and less pain so far  They said at ER, if I had MG, it would be more dramatic, like my dad who got it 7 yrs ago---closed eye, and other drooping, sagging face ..complement fixation test and sed rate had NO signs of infection
