Thought for the Day
Great message at church. What yoke do you put on every day?
I took that at thought, gee, do I wake up grumpy, tired, angry, frustrated, etc. It could be a whole host of negative thoughts. This disease is hard. And when I wake up with the negative, what is that doing to my day? I know what it does.
So, despite being tired and many of those uglier emotions. I choose today to put on a yoke of gratitude. Gratitude that I can still drive, walk (even though it is hard, short distance, and hurts), for my husband and his caring and loving support, that I live in a beautiful place, that I have a God who loves me, that I have a job, etc..
The yoke of the world is heavy. Matthew 11:28-30 "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light. "
