This One's For You, Lord

Lord,
This song often accompanies me when I'm working around the house or on the road.  It blares from my radio and MP3 player (and you know, Lord, I like the fast tempo).  The last few verses are especially meaningful and encourage me to press on, knowing that You are my Guide.
"You give and take away, You give and take away,
My heart will choose to say, Lord, Blessed be your name."
Maybe hubby is singing these praises to You at this very moment.  Nothing more to say but Thank You, thank you, and Blessed Be Your Name!     TJ

Blessed be your name In the land that is plentiful Where the streams of abundance flow Blessed be your name
Blessed be your name When I'm found in the desert place Though I walk through the wilderness Blessed be your name
Every blessing you pour out, I turn back to praise When the darkness closes in, Lord Still I will say... Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your name Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your glorious name
Blessed be your name When the sun's shining down on me When the world's all as it should be Blessed be your name
Blessed be your name On the road marked with suffering Though there's pain in the offering Blessed be your name
Every blessing you pour out, I turn back to praise When the darkness closes in, Lord Still I will say... Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your name Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your glorious name
You give and take away You give and take away My heart will choose to say Lord, Blessed be your name

Just a few days ago I was talking to myself and remember Jan..Suddely I said, \"the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.\" Now I especially careful to remember it was the Lord who gave me Janelle to share my life with. Thanks for you inspirations to us TJ.

It is easy to praise when the times are good, but the mark of heart in love with God is to be able to praise Him when the times are bad....\"Oh my soul, why be so gloomy and discouraged? Trust in God! I shall again praise Him for His wondrous help; He will make me smile again, for HE IS MY GOD!\" Psalm 43:5, (from the Living Bible)

The first time I went to church after John\'s funeral this was the first song that was sang. Up to this point in my life had led a very blessed life and have known very little darkness, loss or suffering. This song was so easy to sing prior to John becoming ill. This song brings me to my knees.
