This just keeps getting tougher

No, actually, it does not get tougher. It gets easier. I never would have believed it but I am not nearly as fucked up this time as I have been in the past. Sorry about the language but no other word really describes it as well. I am not that creative.
Tomorrow I will go on my little tour of the great state of Arizona as I always do And Saturday that tour will continue so that I will have God's beauty in my eyes. Very hard to be angry at him that way.

Yes...hard to stay angry...when I am in the \"zone\"...I just remember that there is so much \"behind the thin veil\" that is beyond our reach and flesh...it must be beautiful, just as you mention...
Love u and see you soon...this weekend is hard, as all are...it is easier to manage the heartache now...we know what to expect...we brace for it...and although I know this sounds strange, I am starting to embrace it...and I cannot even fathom how that came about...
Love,

Dearest Colleen, I will be thinking of you and Jeff on Saturday as you journey through his fifth anniversary date. I pray that you will see so much beauty and that Jeff will be so present that there will only be peace in your heart as you pass through it. It will be 5 years for me in May. In the beginning I would have never believed it would be possible, but like so many others, I am able to embrace what has happened (don\'t get me wrong, I still hate it with everything in me) and live my life around it. My nephew died not quite 2 years after my son did and I kept and keep telling my sister that it never gets easier, just more tolerable. Have a wonderful, beautiful trip and be sure and keep your eyes open for Jeff. He will be there in the beauty!!!! love and hugs...Lynn

Yes it does get easier or perhaps we get stronger and withstand the pain and sorrow better. It\'s still so surreal to me somedays but overall I\'m ok. I\'m so glad you\'re doing better. It\'s been a long road hasn\'t it? Enjoy you beautiful tour and marvel at all that God has created for us. Love to you. Robin

Nature is a powerful healer and and I cannot think of a better place for you to BE this weekend.

Time is a coyote... a trickster... even when we cannot imagine that healing is happening it is, huh?

I love how you write so no censoring needed ever... I get it.

Love YOU and am holding you very close.

Enjoy the beauty of the world, my friend, and let all your inner thoughts and feelings go free in nature. I\'ve been known to let out some good screams while trekking through the outdoors...releases a lot of pent up energy for me. Hugs, Amber

Love you and I am thinking of you today. I hope the day is as gentle as possible....I know you are not as goofed up (not crazy about the word haha) as you used to be...me either. Life just keeps moving along and we keep putting one foot in front of the other...and doing a bit of smiling and enjoying things around us as we go. Love you...Karen

Hi Colleen, yes, we do heal don\'t we? At two and one half years I can breathe again and smile. I love the way you think. Be in nature and see the beauty and enjoy. Jeff is a heart beat away behind the thin veil as Ann said. Much love to you and Jeff, Linda xoxo
