This is the first song for your mix tape and it's short just like your temper.

I decided that every now and then I'm going to post a new set of songs that you should check out. Most of you will probably not like most of them, but hey, it's fun for me. Each song that will be on the lists will have some kind of meaning to me, and if you'd like to know why I picked a specific one, just ask.

1. Broken by Seether (NOT the one with Amy Lee in it)    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqwK1V0Ym6Q

2. Appreciation and the Bomb by the Spill Canvas (DO NOT WORRY when you listen to this song. The reason I picked it is not what you'll think when you hear it.) Sadly, I could only find the faster version on youtube. The song is much more effective in the slower version, which I have no idea where I got it. I can't find it online anywhere to link it Weird. Anyway, I love this band to no end. I always forget to list them on my favorite band list, but they're totally up in the top somewhere near the top three. They're so amazing and this song, among a few others by them, get me through when I'm feeling like I should cease to exist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWhnDG_OUlY

3. Killing Loneliness - HIM (The singer of this band makes me swoon. God his voice gives me the chills.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ9JdDAbKH0

4. Bittersweet - Apocalyptica (The singer from #3 and Lauri Ylonen from the Rasmus sing this song together. The band Apocalyptica does all of their music on 4 cellos and they don't sing. On some songs, they recruit other singers to guest on the song. I love all of Apocalyptica's music, but especially this song.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi1ArEPKlu0

5. Lua - Bright Eyes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aZh261KZWI

6. Tree Hugger - Antsy Pants and Kimya Dawson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R378SwPH-b0

7. A Perfect Tourniquet - Anberlin (Another of my most favorite bands, I don't know why I always forget to list them too.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqAZQigQqzA

8. Shadow of the Day - Linkin Park http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1PCW0C1aiM

9. Almost Lover - A Fine Frenzy (This is where I got lucklessromance from. "So long my luckless romance, my back is turned on you. Should have known you'd bring me heartache, almost lovers always do") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsWsasqIoyk

10. This Time Imperfect - AFI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCqtEXE2RhY&feature=fvw

Looks like you are doing the listening...more than the reading. :)

You should listen to at least the last two and number 7. Either way, none of them are screamy. Most are kind of slow.

Wow! I should not be so closed minded and just assume that I would not like them....or it wouldn\'t be my cup of tea. (Did that sound old?) :) So far I listened to the one\'s you told me to listen to and I really liked them! Especially #7.

I had a feeling you\'d like #7 especially. That\'s one of my all time favorite bands. They\'re so amazing. I love #10 a lot too. Hell, I love them all. LOL. I tried not to post anything off the wall. The weirdest one I think is #6, but the words are amazing. #2, on the surface, seems like it\'s about suicide, but it\'s so much more than that. God I love music. lol
