This is so Much Harder Than the First Time
Wow. Four months since he up and left and I believe that I think of him minimum five times a day. Whether from boredom, anger, sadness... Most times anger now. While I was away I truly believed, since he did show up at court, that he would be putting his finances in order and that I would return home to a check made out to me and this nightmare would be over. Ha ha. Well, he has a surprise coming for him. He is meant to pay me by 4/26 and if I don't receive it by then, he will get a visit from me. Either at his Daddy's house (where he claims he is living on his couch) or his new girlfriend's house. If he thinks that I am going to let this drop like his two previous wives and his baby mama, he is dead wrong. Sorry Kevy, I will not go away.
I have started chatting with a few guys online. It's not bad. It usually rushes right into the semi-sexual talk. I try and be good natured and not a complete prude about it. Some I cut off right away and send packing, others I tone down. There were two men that were very captivating. One from about an hour away. You know the type - he is a salesman for a radio station. Big guy, big talker, good sense of humor. Joke, joke all the time. I have used a rather light tone in response. Teasing and joking. Really, just getting my feet wet from a distance. Yesterday we were texting - all of a sudden - he throws in a "bye" and poof - I don't hear from him again (whereas before he was texting every few hours or calling). This is not the first time he has done this. I don't get it - and I'm certainly not one to get on the phone and start grilling him about why he cut contact. His loss - not mine. But very strange....
The second guy is very quiet, gentle, no joking no games. We have not spoken over the phone - only texting and emails. The last texting session ended with him saying he'd like to speak with me again, ok? I had fallen asleep so I responded the next morning, with a "sure". Later he texted and said that he'd like to speak in person. I told him that I would be watching my grandkids, but that we could fit some time in. At 5 p.m. I texted him and said that I had two minutes or so for a chat before Thomas the Tank Engine started, and he responded that he was not out of work until 6 pm. I told him, "oops, sorry". Never heard from him at all after that last night, nor once today. What's up with these people? They talk chat text call repeatedly and then stop. I am not the type of woman to pursue something that seems terminated - maybe I'm wrong and this is the new way and I'm not aware.
So confusing - and bullshit. Really? Do I need this in my life at my age? I just want to go out for a meal, a drink, some music. geeeeeez.
