This Is Our Temporary Home
Wow... Hearing this song tonight... was like an affirmation... one of Oprah's AH HA moments... I am so grateful but close to tears I am so moved... I heard this song for tonight for the first time... I know a lot of you have probably heard it... but oh wow... It echoes what I've been trying to understand... I was in some ways so sad when Cara appeared beside me one night at what she told me.... when she said she loved me but that she could not say that she was sad or that she missed me... I came to terms with it pretty much.. and part of what I came to believe was that she wasn't sad... and she didn't miss me... because she was here... and she was there.... but where was there I wondered... and I felt like I kind of received an answer when something kept telling me that she was where she had always been meant to be... where we are all supposed to be when it is time... I have often told people that pretty much this place - this life is the temporary one... and that our real home and life are where our loved ones are... with God... I just wanted to share this with you all and hope that it will bring you some comfort...

This made me think of the foster children that were in my home temporarily and of my mil who passed away a short time ago at age 98. My mind could contemplate this forever. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

If we believe this life is temporary and we will have a beautiful reunion with our loved ones (animals included) in our Eternal Home, well I think we can get through it, even though each day is hard with our loved ones physical presence missing. This is my thought.
Thank you for sharing. It is a beautiful journal. Have you had visits from your daughter? If so, that must be amazing. I have dreamed about Jeff and I am so wiped out for days but nothing tangible. I tried to find that song on you tube, but couldn\'t. Who sings it?

This is where my strength comes from....the knowing deep inside my being that this world I live in, this body that\'s mine for a time, is temporary. To be treasured for sure...to be used for good....but this is only a small part of my life, my experience. This is just the human part.... Knowing Kala IS, keeps me motivated to do my best with a smile on my face and in my heart. She\'s watching!
