This is my afternoon tanty.....

After a reasonable start this morning,  I've progressed to BLAH!  I was only going to work a half day today, after my gp visit.  HUH!  By the time I got there I was feeling pretty ordinary, my face and head were feeling pretty sore.  Then I had to wait for 40 minutes, so by the time I saw her..... I was feeling crappy.  She checked my BP - way too high, (and that's with 2 BP meds) so she told me I should go home, not to work.  I really need the money, but I knew I'd be pretty useless when I got there.  So, I came home.Well, I pulled into my driveway to find my middle son's car blocking it!  First step to a cranky pants explosion - so I hit the horn, very mature of course. Then, by the time I got to the back door, I could see the flywire had been left wide open, second step to the explosion.  So by the time I got inside with all my bits of paper, referrals, prescriptions,   appointment cards, shopping, handbag, workbag, etc - I was in a major tanty! My poor boys, they weren't expecting me home, but hey.... it's my home.  One doesn't live here, the other one has just moved in with me for a few weeks after more than 18 months, so I was in overload.   I just lost it, more cos I was in pain than any other reason, but those poor kids, they just looked at me like I'd lost my marbles, which I kinda think I did for a minute there.....Oh.... and then.... just to top it off - I walked into the toilet and someone had left skiddy's from here to next week - pleasant I know.  BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Well I drugged up, sat down and have barely moved since - the pain has subsided,  and now I'm just groggy.   My youngest is at this very moment, cooking dinner.  I'm in shock.  Salad and burgers - he's done well.  I think he realised just how bad I was feeling.I'll give him a big hug after - I've sent them both big apologies by phone I felt so bad.

Don\'t feel bad, we\'ve all had those days...Lord knows the way that I felt today with my son!!! He yelled at me from the top of his 17 yr. old lungs and because of fibrofog...I don\'t even remember what the world he was yelling about. But, I\'m on my way to my meds, heating pad and comfy bed. My daughter (10) made my dinner tonight...2 pB&J sandwich\'s and a bottle of water. She usually makes spaghetti, tuna subs, pasta noodles & salad, etc, but tonight...I let her off easy cuz\' I\'m pooped and didn\'t feel like waiting for a good meal. Lazy, tired, blah, blah I know. I am so tired, I am typing crazy. I keep fixing my mistakes! Anyways, had to give hugs and reply to friends journals. TTYL, Peace, DC

Yes, we have all had those days - it seems that those of us with fm do seem to have them more often than others though...
Glad to hear that you are at work today, you must be feeling at least a little better. i hopw the Lyrica is still doing its magic, I\'m pretty sure my neurontin is working well, but I\'m not game enough to come off it and check, lol.
I do understand the whole \'boys\' thing. My husband and 10 year old son can leave a lot to be desired on the cleanliness front - actually come to think of it the problems are with my husband and 13 year old daughter! Sometimes home just doesn\'t feel like home, it is a second work place, cleaning up after everyone else all the time. Hope i catch up with you in chat,
