This and That

I almost don't know what I think I really want to say here so if I'm babbling senselessly, oh well, right.
I'm not sure this last week how I'm feeling on some levels.  Hubby started coming down with a cold abt 10 days ago & mine sure enough set in abt 2 days after his.  Weird though, it started in the throat for a day then went to the traditional head cold with a head feeling like the size of a football and dry hacking coughing which I'm still half battling.  The last couple days I've actually managed to do a 5 hr sleep where I sleep straight through without even my restless legs waking me up.  I've started the morning feeling quite on top of it all but then without warning I'll all of a sudden just run out of steam.  It's frustrating though cause I'm not bed ridden but still can't quite 100% tackle life every day.  Boy lupus & bugs sure like to stick to each other don't they.  I've got things to do & place to go etc. etc. & sure would love some decent energy back.
Hubby has one more cancer test coming up in Nov & thats a CT scan of the lower section of the body.  We've not been dwelling on it at all though & we've just been living our days to the best we can on all levels.  His dr had put him on some antibiotics a while back after his last high PSA in case there was some kind of infection.  He had another PSA last wk & we see this dr in another wk to see if that brought any good changes.  It's possible he might have something known as PSA bounce where it just bounces up for no reason & then will settle back down again.  I had spent some time with our pastor a while back in his office & he says he feels that we're going to be fine right now but he did say that I can call him whenever I feel I need to.
I guess thats abt it for now.  I do so thank you all for taking the time to read this & love you dearly.

I am so happy to have an update from you. : D
I so very much meant to send you a link or a mention of something I read a week or two ago about PSA counts. But lupus stole it right out of my head. I *think* it was in Parade magazine, or maybe a Pittsburgh newspaper ... but it was talking about false high scores do not always mean what docs have thought they meant. More and more often science is proving that they do not mean cancer and so on. So, it seems like you are on the right wave length to not focus too much on it. I have the same feeling as your pastor. Incidentally, I am now working for a client who publishes reports about medical imaging. I work with the imagery and I can tell you what sometimes they call cancer in these scans is very very ... minute. Seems like they are looking at nothing at all to me and I am very in tune with small nuances when it comes to art/imagery. Sometimes I do this work and I think \'gee, if they are dxing someone based ONLY upon this one thing, how real can that possibly be? How can they be certain based upon this image?\' just my opinion but I do think some healthy people get chemo and radiation that may not always need it. I suppose that\'s better than the other way around right?! : ) I hope this isn\'t a downer -- I meant it to be an upper. really! haha I can sense God loving you both and I hope you feel more and more peace my friend. lots of love, m
