Thinking It's Almost Time

The past few days I have been thinking long and hard.  I have continued to go to work whenever scheduled. A few days we had no truck so I did leave a little early and then I would stay and do the long days when it arrived and we had so very much to do. I have continued to work as was needed. Sometimes I get frustrated because so many show up to get a paycheck but essentially do things with no real urgency (when we have often had that lately). The attitudes are now suffering. I have been snipped at several days from coworkers.  (Thankfully, we work it out later.... but it is an awful way to start the day.) Most of the customers are very appreciative.  I told the guys too bad that does not rub off on them. lol

I have decided that I am going to finish this schedule... tomorrow, then Friday and Saturday to cover the guys next days off. After that, I am taking a week on lock down too.  My luck is not always the greatest and considering I do have some issues that do put me at risk, (plus the fact I have been killing myself) I am going to take advantage of some PTO that I still have accumulated.  I really don't want something like this to take me out before I got a chance to start my new life. As the numbers grow in the US and now the cases are being reported in my county as well. I am going to take more precaution too.

PS  On a brighter note-- my BIL replaced and hooked up a new dryer.  woo hoo.

I hope you ALL stay safe and well--- and if need be-- remember to put yourself and your health first. WE are ALL important and deserve to be happy and well.

Hugs,
Kim

Make it a party, take two weeks. Even better wait till they beg you back with a raise. I think it’s a good idea to chill. Ironically I have extra work because it’s just me working on a shut down restaurant. Feel safe driving there and home. No contact. But what you do is too much contact.
