Thinking about things

So I've been researching bariatric surgery and migraines and things of that nature this morning.  I have read studies that suggest those who have the bariatric surgery who suffered from migraines prior to surgery often have marked improvement of the migraines afterwards.  Could it be possible to change my pain receptor problems by having a surgery that would help me lose weight?
I made an appointment to see a doctor next Thursday. I am due for an overall physical as it is so I'll go and see what we can do to get me on the right path towards wellness.  I'm tired of being tired.  Does the depression cause the weight gain?  Does the weight gain cause depression? When it hurts to do anything and everything, emotionally and physically, it is a spiral of self destructive behavior. I know that I need to eat a low-carb, high protein diet, but I get so tired. I feel like I'm always hungry. I want to be able to reach out to others and be an advocate for my son and yet there is this huge heavy weight on me all the time.  Pain, aching, a fog of forgetfulness and inability to move.
In other news, my son was not quite himself this morning and I'm not sure if I really should have sent him to school.  He did not have a fever but he just wanted to drink water, ate a few bites of cereal, and was very reluctant to go to class today.  Usually he's very compliant with going to his class.  Maybe he knows it's the last week of school?
I'm off to pick him up.  Here's hoping it was a good day.
