Things on my mind
We have returned from our trip to Belize.....what an amazingly beautiful place!!!! This was our first real grownup vacation ever! We have taken the kids places.....amusement parks camping that sort of thing but nothing for us......I guess you could say it was even a belated honeymoon.
My computer is down so I haven't put up any pictures yet.
We were home for 3 days and now we are at a ski resort.....hubby had a meeting up here and the timeshare people were bugging him to come for a visit (ya right) so he thought he would kill two birds with one stone. Our daughter met us up here to use the free lift ticket....lol so I get to hang out at the resort, get a couple dinners out and some rest.....I have a sore throat and I'm not sure what it is going to do......better worse????
I brought several books and my iPad and I'm good to go.
We are now looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful to go with the kids next month for our belated Christmas trip.???

wish i was you! belize AND the ski resort. wow. that is wonderful!!! and so glad you are enjoying yourself. i do the timeshares as well. we started out with the campground timeshare thing which is perfect when you have kids and pets...like 20 years ago. lol. long time; and then over ten years ago went into ordinary timeshare. the trick with timeshare is to buy near your own house so you have year round use of the facilities and then the perk is the one or more weeks you \"own\" to use as a swap - travelling somewhere when you swap it. i also only buy the resales which are incredibly cheap. what\'s odd is nowadays the kids (all big now) won\'t put up with a regular hotel, they expect the condo thing. even when we stayed at a westin, its different plus it was waaaay too cold for my arthritis and you can\'t lower the a/c or open a window with them. i miss the \"packages\" though that ordinary vacations used to offer that include sightseeing and airfare...i like to see it all when travelling but i don\'t want to be the one planning it out. i want to just sit on a sightseeing bus and go and move about without using my brain and just taking pictures and enjoying.
