Things I Have Learned

Things I have learned since losing my job:
Breakfast isn't the most important meal of the day.  In fact, you can do without it and lunch too.
By changing the spread on a baloney sandwich, you can almost make it taste good.
A 2 pound bag of macaroni that costs a dollar, can extend 3 weeks' worth of chicken and/or tuna salad one week at a time.
It takes only one can of tuna to make a tuna salad, but 2 cans of chicken to make chicken salad because the tuna is packed tighter.
Store brand spiced hot teas really don't measure up to the name brand, but taste better when the price is factored in.  The same goes for coffee.
Ramen noodles should be considered a national treasure.
Popcorn is a inexpensive(cheap) snack that is filling and easy to make.(stay away from the microwave stuff.)
Pretzels are too salty, but you can rub some of the salt off of make a healthy, cheap snack.
There is no way to eat healthy when you don't have a job.
Going to McDoanld's, Burger King, Whataburger, Church's Chicken, or Taco Bell are dreams  your heart makes that cannot come true.
If you wear old clothes and gym clothes around the house and only dress up to go somewhere, you can greatly reduce your laundry bill to once a month.
A bathroom sink is a great underwear and sock washer.
You don't use your car much.
The internet will tease you with information,,,just enough to get you started on a project, but not enough to finish it.
There may be another one of these lists.  I have a lot of time to think.(Scarey thought!)
