Things Have Changed

I was watching an old television series from the 1950s about this old woman.  She played a woman who's looks had gone long ago.  She was mourning the passing of the woman she used to be when men couldn't take their eyes off her.  Now she was just an old woman or so I thought.  I was curious after watching the show and decided to look up the actresses age.  She was 57, the same age I will be in a few months.  Incredible.  Now, when I think of a woman even in her 60s or 70s, I picture Helen Mirren, Jane Fonda.  Few women look like the women of the 1950s.  Nowadays, 50s and older is young and vibrant.  We're marrying, going to school, even starting families.

Times have changed.  Thank Goodness.

lol, I guess it is one\'s perspective, when I was young (20\'s) I\'d look at someone in their 40\'s and think, man are they OLD... the older I get I look at the kids and go Man are they YOUNG....
