Things are progressing, so want to write it down

We got a letter and a Thank You card for the wedding card we sent last Sept. when we found out she got married. I wondered if she ever saw the card or check because only her husband signed it.
It's good news that she does know and thanked us! The part that worries me is that the card was addressed by our first names, but was put in a different envelope with a short note saying that she wants to meet and talk. That's encouraging too! I prayed how to handle it as she seems to not want her husband to know about the note. She included her return address. I had found out her address, but she didn't know. I'm glad she was honest and gave it to us. We still didn't know if we should use it or send something to her work or call her at work. Last night my husband was insistent on sending her the letter to her home. He thought it wouldn't look good if we sent it to her work. We don't want her to have to explain why she's getting personal mail at work.
My thought is she's getting some guts to reach out even if her husband doesn't want her to. I want to encourage this. If we try and reach her another way then we may be feeding into that fear. I still hope she gets the letter without husband seeing it. If we don't hear from her soon then we'll send a letter to her work asking if she got the one sent to her apartment. Praying how long "soon" should be.
