Things Are Moving

Had my appointment at Vincent Square hospital today for their assessment. The travelling isn't that bad at all, it's quite far to go but it's pretty straight foward. The assessment was just a lot of talking. She took my weight which has dropped again (which i knew) and then she was just asking lots of questions. It was all just for them to be able to confirm that the information they've been given is accurate and see if anything has changed recently. She's 'unofficially' told me that I will be going inpatient. The staff there have their meeting to discus patients tomorrow morning so the decision will 'officially' be made tomorrow. We're back up there again first thing Monday morning for the outcome and more information. She did say that although she's not certain, she thinks there may be a bed available at the moment so it's a good thing the meeting is tomorrow and not just gone. If there is a bed available I'll probably be going in the week after as they usually admit people first thing on a Monday as it's quiet and you'll start the week afresh. If there arn't any beds available I'll be seen weekly until they do get a bed. I'm already on the waiting list to go in. In Monday's appointment she'll be able to give me the bed situation and show me round the ward.I had more bloods done today which they'll have for tomorrows meeting and if on Monday I'm not going in, she's going to ask my GP to send me for a bone scan and ask him to give me certain multivitamins on prescription. So that's it for now, just got to wait till next week.
