Things are looking up, please pray for us!
Hello Friends
Today we get to go to an excellent hospital Rehab Behaviour unit for our daughter!
We are super excited! She had a horrific accident when she was 22, 4 years ago April 18, 2010.
She was in the "slow to recover" programme after she came out of her year long coma! She did so well there that she was eating and standing and starting to walk with all kings of assistance for about 4 staff at the time.
We have been working with her since and she is walking with Nordic Poles and has been doing wonderfully except the one issue of outbursts of swearing and screaming, throwing things and hitting.
The Behaviour manager from this Hospital she was at came to see us and explained there was a long waiting list. We applied as we know this hospital is second to none. The amount of help they gave us in the slow to recover programme was outstanding.
The doctors told us she would be a vegetable that her Glsagow scale was 3. She would never be able to walk or talk! We are so blessed with this miracle! The surgeon was dumbfounded when she got up and hugged him and thanked him for saving her life! He looked at me with his jaw dropped and said there is no way she should be doing any of this!
Well We arrived at the town where this wonderful hospital is (two hours away) WE GOT ACCEPTED!!!
She will be in the programme from 3,4 months to a year depending on her progress!
Please pray that her that her success rate is great!
We are so blessed and very very happy!
Sandy xoxo
