Things Are Looking Up
I did go to my eye specialist and now have added yet another one to my "team". I am now up to 4 doctors. Did you know the last one added was because they spotted the beginning of glaucoma and have been monitoring that . Now it seems my eyes have gotten so dry because of the dry eyes that I was starting to form scar tissue on my left eye and that was making vision worse (Apparently there is a specialist specifically with the cornea too). So now I am also doing more drops (different kind in each eye) and checking back with him in another week. The good news is that it is helping and I'm not afraid of going blind anymore. (Thank God) As far as glasses go, we are seeing how things go and thinking that won't be necessary .

more doctors is more fish in the sea to flirt with....LOL I know I am kidding....but who would not want a younger male doctor in their house? oh Me! I want the younger female doctor in my house....LOL
glad they figured out the dry eyes is causing scaring that is effecting the vision....I too am developing cataracts and the doc is saying not needed to have surgery yet....I have eye appointment after tax due date just because my glasses are reimbursement I think....maybe not....I cannot remember I just know when they renewed my insurance its benefit value went down on eyeglasses....

Good news here! Glad you are getting proper eye treatment. This is always a relief isn't it?
You know, my husband is almost totally blind. He found a new life after vision loss. He uses assistive technology on the computer. He is a whiz and has found a bunch of organizations for visually impaired folks. So vision loss can feel like a huge loss of independence but it does not have to be a life ender or depression giver as there is tons of help out there. Hugs to you.
