Things Are Looking Up

Well, just when you think things are going to h*** in a handbasket, look what happens.  They start getting better. In addition to the Dow Jones doubling it's previous record for a one-day gain today; I was able to mow the backyard, because the last of the floodwaters disappeared today.  It was pretty to look at, but the flood kept me from mowing, and those flowering heads on the sedges and grasses were firing up my allergies and sinuses.  Someone told me today they are buying a nice three-bedroom house from Fannie Mae for $25,000.  Tough economic times also bring opportunities. I was really feeling down the past few weeks, I think I needed some good signs of better things to come. Sometimes you just never know what is going to happen.
