Things Are Finally Looking Up

Hello everyone. I apologize for not coming on or posting often but when i did pop in was in a bit of a funk and really felt nothinjg to contribute. 

I am happy to report that things are falling into place and I will be moving into an independent living facility by August 1st, I called A Place For Mom and they told me about this place. Initially I was going to cram into a studio to save money, but it turns out it is only an additional $30 a month for a 1 bedroom. I will have my own apt with livingroom, bath (walk in shower and safety features), bedroom, and kitchenette/ dining area. All meals and snacks are provided in a large dining room downstairs.  (You don't fill out menu cards day before , instead you area given the daily options and you put in your order .)

There is so much to do, but the kids (nephew and his wife) convinced me they would help and I shouldn't spazz  BAHAHA. Day by day things are falling into place. I will be glad when all is settled and I can type away from my new apt.  It will be among others, safer and more convenient. It will cost a bit more than the phenominal amt and am paying for this place, but I do have some savings that I am able to chip away at to cover me for quite some time. 

Anyhow, I must stop typing (and babbling ) for now since  I do need to get to bed at a decent hour as I have eye specialist apt in morning then errands.  I found out that I could get out of my lease early with no penalty since I have a letter from my physician.  Must pick that up too and deliver to offioce here.
