Things are appearing to be "better"

Lately - T has been MUCH better.  He's coming home before curfew, he's been calling to let us know where or when he's coming home AND he's been playing a lot of soccer, basketball, and bike riding.  Not to mention - chores and he's been pleasant.  He also agreed and did the steps to work toward making some cabinetry for my husband's place of employment.  Part of the funds he will be making , supposedly, will go to my husband since he needs to be repaid for all the money T stole from him.
My husband lead me to believe that T is doing it all for free.  Not quite.  I heard T ask my husband when he'll get paid.  I guess there has to be some kind of incentive but I wonder what they agreed on.  It doesn't matter.  Just glad that T is willing to do something.  
So - there is something to be said about projecting - not always a good thing to do because no one knows what is going to happen.  After T's gf broke up with him last week I thought he was going to fall apart and get out of control.  Just the opposite.  
Although things are better right now -  I will never let my guard down.  I know better than that!
