These are the kinds of things I have troule dealing with...
I went to my counselor's appointment, and once again he wasn't there - went out of town for the weekend and didn't come back because of the storm. And, once again, he didn't have my number so that he could call me and let me know. We're rescheduled for 3:00 this pm. So, I came home, got the driveway shoveled out enough to get my car back in (I just dug out most of the plow zone and then plowed my way out with the car), and called the heating/plumbing guy, who said that he could fix the entire deal for me. He suggested calling the insurance company, so I did that too. Whenever I come across such a big problem, like the pipes bursting and having no water or heat, I panic, don't know what to do to solve the problem, try to do something myself to fix it, then finally (hopefully) get someone down to fix it. This is going to be very expensive - even if the insurance comes through, because I have a $1,000 deductable on the policy, and there are things I'm sure they won't cover - and then the premium will go up for next year, or they will cancel me. If I get cancelled, the mortgage company calls the loan, if I cannot get replacement insurance, and I tried to get replacement insurance last month, and they wouldn't cover me. Well, I think that my time in Maine may be coming to an end. If this disaster cannot be resolved, i'll have to close it up and go elsewhere. so, maybe this is the unvierse trying to tell me to move on. I really wouldn't mind that, if I had somewhere to go. It cost me $7,000 for the movers to get here, and even though I have sold off most of everything worth selling, I still have alot of junk, along with alot of good stuff that I could easily sell on ebay to raise money, to move - -one way or another. This is where my thoughts have gone today - and I think that the universe is definately trying to tell me something with this winter thing here - last winter was almost as bad, but nothing broke. So, there we are.
