There's Hope! : )

Well, Thanksgiving turned out pretty wonderful... my husband and I weren't alone, he called his mother the night before and it turned out she'd been forgotten!  So, after most of the cooking Thursday morning, he drove off to retrieve her and we had a lovely time!  It was SO nice to have another woman around  : )
It's been a whirlwind these last few weeks, with all the busy-ness of the Thanksgivingholiday... ever since Halloween, I've sensed the "hurry-sickness" of everyone around me and even within myself.
It's true! Just to sit and be quiet during these last two months of the year is aHUGE challenge, though it's my absolute FAVORITE thing to do, usually.
I feel like I've been morphing into a new person this last year... especially since finding the Daily Strength groups (and friends : ) and also, after more than 35 years, I've begun writing again.
The absolute magic and wonder of expression astounds me! It started as a trickle, and has progressed over the course of this year to a raging river... I can't hardly go a day without something needing to be written down! It's like there's a separate being within me, with a mind of it's own, it's only desire... to be heard.
And, along with this renewed love of writing, I'm growing more JOYFUL and more likethe person I really am... : )
Yes, the PTSD and other miscellaneous difficulties and challenges I cope with EVERY day are still there... but I am coming alive again!
I am feeling a new energy… BUT, it is EXTREMELY painful within my body, making my nervous system feel like it's been plugged into an electrical outlet… a BIG one! Sometimes I worry, it's so… unnerving! I wish I understood what is going on, but I "fired" my last therapist and don't have the heart to go to another…
For now, I have to have faith and believe it's all good : )

I know I have changed so much since I came on DS. It\'s wonderful to write. I would go crazy without the oportunity to write too. It\'s a wonderful outlet. I\'m so glad it makes you happy. Take care.
