There\'s always something.....

'There's always something' is one of my mother's common sayings. Indeed, there always IS something - with five children and their children....but yesterday was a nightmare. When I arrived at the hostel I discovered my Mum in a high state of anxiety because my brother who'd organised the move had got the day wrong - the move is still 24 hours away. The staff at the hostel were completely at a loss to know how the mix up happened and bro was uncontactable , having taken off to the Gold Coast. I had about three hours to organise someone to be there for Mum the next day. With five of us you'd think that would be easy, but no......I couldn't do it(car at the mechanics tomorrow); brother at the Gold Coast (three hours away and not answering mobile); other brother about to fly to Sydney on business; sister 1000kms away said she'd see about a flight; remaining sister on holidays at the beach where there is no phone coverage.........So I drove to the beach to find Sis only to discover she has a badly sprained ankle (something about prancing along the beach like a nymphette)Alls well that ends well. Sis with sprained ankle organised her daughter to drive her into town to be there with Mum and sister 1000 miles away doesnt have to come which is good because she couldnt get a connecting flight anyway. There's still no word from the bro who created this chaos.
