There is Light in the Darkness
My friend asked me "what can we do during this time of the attacks in Paris?" This was my answer to her and I believe everyone of us sharing here on DS is doing this. Sending love across the miles! And must respect and admiration for each of us working on our own personal healing! xo
For me, the only contribution I can make is to take responsibility for healing and integrating my *own* pain. My 'darkness' if you like - which is just that which lacks the light of love. As I embrace my own lost sheep, I can choose to hold a focus of light and broadcast peace and even joy on days like this, rather than resonating with mass consciousness fear and upset.
I feel we are so much more powerful than we let ourselves know. We ARE the light that can shine into every dark corner. We ARE the Love the world is calling for. We simply need to be our first recipient. And start focusing on weeding our own corner of the garden, until it overflows with beauty.
This is the Way of the Heart. We all walk it in the end.
Activism based on guilt and subtle judgment is a far easier route... But turning to look within and see where *we* harbour fear, hatred and violence, and healing that... That's the move that will really change the world.
It is in the loving embrace of our own deep guilt and pain that our channel becomes clear, and our natural background joy arises. Then we can receive inspiration for aligned action, at the perfect moment. The 'How' of the world changing is not our responsibility. It will come through us, but not be figured out by us. It the miracle that unfolds as we align with our Source and let it move through us.
Heaven on Earth starts right here, right now, with you and me.
