THERE IS GOOD THAT COMES FROM BAD

Amazing the comments on my last two journals...sometimes it is so hard for me to remember all the fun, the laughs, the good times as sometimes I am still taking care of Ken in my mind...Yet I know there were many things we did not only when he was young but as he grew up...Ken was a blessing to so many people.  He loved his children....He loved God... Just a blessing happened the other day..when Ken could not longer get his words out like he wanted...if it was time for me to leave for the evening....he never failed to say as well as he could "lov U mom"  I was on line and out an ad is a heart with just those words...I contacted the person immediately and he lived right here in town..Now it is nothing expensive but it was a heart with the words that Ken could say those last days...The heart I hold close to my heart...his words I hold close into my heart...It was his birthday Aug 21...now he knows I would never forget...but I was extra reminded by the heart that just happen to be on my Facebook page....There is no true happiness of our children being gone way too soon..Having lost out on so much..Having so much to give but to have these little things that brings back our times that we had...I know all of you have had signs from you loved ones, your child...isn't it amazing when we get something that lets us know...they are okay...they are...we know it...we may not like the way it is but for one thing for sure we can know they are okay...It does not mean it hurts less...that sometimes the pain is deep as it was..but we are surviving...we are remembering...We know the love we have...we know the love we shared with our children...We have the love to hold on to....to never let go...How much love of my first born is undescrible...what joy he brought to my life and others....As you all stated....we would have never not wanted them to be in our lives as they left a special place, a special love...THERE WERE SPECIAL!!!AND that day when we join them what fun we will have....As we are only separated by a thin sheet...just think of putting your hand through there and on the other side we are holding our childs hand...to have had a part, a piece, just to have had our child in our life....the joy, the love, the forever.....How I love you my son Kenny...How I miss our talks...our touches, our sharing of love..one day it will be again as it was just yesterday...tomorrow and forever...Love Love Love I feel for you in my heart...Mom

Tight hugs. It is hard to remember the good times. We focus on the end or our children\'s lives, rather that the life they shared with us. I don\'t know about you, but when I think of the happy times, it makes me sad because we are no longer able to make new memories. It just sucks sometimes. But like you, I am thankful every day for the time I had with Lisa.
I am not very uplifting tonight but know that I am with you.
Tight hugs,

I love the way you describe the thin sheet that separates us from our beautiful children. It really is comforting to experience the special signs they send us! To know they still ARE, and they\'re o.k, and our deep love for each other still lives on! Best of all, to know that oneday we will reunite with them, forever!!

Big, warm hugs! xxx

My grownup children are well and doing good. But the irony is that I don\'t feel loved by either one of them. Yet I brought them up with only love. I did my best but I feel cheated.

Another great journal, Sandi! This is what I hold onto as well, knowing that Josh sends us winks and knowing that every day I am closer to holding him again in the glorious kingdom of our Father. I also hold the memories near and dear to my heart. Sending you and Kenny love, Leda

So lovely to read your thoughts and I have always felt that the veil is SO very thin. The idea of being able to hold hands with our beloveds brings such comfort.

Remembering ALL the children with LOVE as that is all that truly matters in this life.

Hoping today is a gentle one dear Sandi and knowing the world is a better place because your Ken IS in it.

(((Hugs))) of care,
XO Joanie

I agree we are only on the other side, waiting for the day to join them. I still want to do something to make them proud. I know how I feel and I love to get signs from them. How about tonight girls I could use a visit. Love you both with all my heart. Hugs!!!!

I do like your words. It is like twins in the womb separate but together.
Memories get us through the worse of times and keeps us going in the best of times. Thank goodness for the loving memories.

What a beautiful journal, dear Sandi! I had to read it over and over. Yes, there is good that comes from bad and I thank God for that.

Much love,
Diane
