There be Tulips

I planted tulips for the first time and they are blooming!    Here are some photos of them.  I also planted some rain lilies and gladiola bulbs.  I put in some caladium bulbs that I had from last year.   The rain lilies and caladium won't come up for a while.   Hopefully the glads will do well.   I put them in the same bed as the tulips.  The tulips will die off way too soon.

don't ya all find spring flowers to be so pretty and fragrant and do not last near long enough??? I love lilacs... way to short of life with such a wonderful smell they fill whole house when brought in side. Spring time, new birth, mother nature reborn with fresh air, sun shine, warm breezes, buds on trees, flowers sprouting thru the earth, birds singing, even if they start at 4:45- 5: a.m., in the morning. Ever awake to hear them this time of day, every day? And the critters scampering , rabbits with babies, deer with new born fawns, (first wk of June), and this is just in my yard.... share what u are seeing from your yard -
