Therapist

my therapist is leaving on the first of february and so i am being placed with a new one. my anxiety is starting to rise. i have one more meeting with him before and then i start with my new one which lasts for one week because he is going on vacation. so i asked if i could see mike that week at his new office. so mike is going to try to be at my first meeting with brett. i don't know where to start with brett and then the transition isn't going to be an easy one with him going on vacation. there has been a twist i didn't need with one leaving and one coming for one visit and then not and top that one off with steve moving out splitting the kids between homes so now i don't see the kids like i would want. wow!!! the wammies are coming from all directions. i have had some disagreements with my older daughter staying with me for a short period of time. i will be glad when she leaves. she is also trying to get full custody of her son and should know by her birthday in march so keep your fingers crossed. sorry this is all crazy i just see it this way....

You have to put one foot in front of the other . . . . one step at a time. I know it is hard to compartmentalize but it is a skill and can ba developed over time. Tough for some to do but worth developing the mental skill to do this on some things . . . . Changing therapists is always a bit of a stressor and, well, your daughter divorcing and all that . . . . doesn\'t help. Hang in there, OK? Hugs and love. Neesie

Sometimes, change is for the good. I hope this is the case with the new therapist.
