The Whirlwind Continues.

Awhile back I mentioned that I'd be travelling a lot and I was a bit nervous about how it would all work out.  Well, New York went great!  Montreal was all business...  And since the weekend, we've been in the beautiful Canadian rockies.  We went on a great hike along the Johnston Canyon.  I was amazed how my hemoglobin deprived old shell managed to stride up the side of this mountain.  Later we went to Lake Louise and did another couple of miles.  The scenery was so amazing (I'll post some pix when I get back).   It put such joy in my heart.  This is a funny thing.  As much as I hate HCV and I think it is simply pure evil at the molecular level, I have to admit that since my diagnosis I have had some of the happiest times of my life and some of the saddest.  A cynic would say they are drug-induced emotions etc. etc.   I'm not so sure.  When your life is at risk, Joy is more Joyful and Despair is, well, more Despairing. So, we'll see what tomorrow brings! J

So glad that things are going well and that you enjoyed some hiking! I too have experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows ever since my dx.....it is important to remember the highs when the lows kick your butt!

I\'m guessing it can\'t be all evil. I\'m getting some good personal growth out of it & meeting some good people, working harder to keep my family connected to each other. It has increased my awareness of spiritual messages around me. The days go by too quickly.
