The Weekend
Ok... Its Monday already. Its amazing how fast the weekend can go by dontcha think?I am feeling alot better and havent had a crying fit again so that must be good.First of Saturday morning, Al told me there were a few garage or yard sales in our neighbor hood and I was looking for a walker for his his new grandbaby and one of them had some baby stuff so we went to two sales. I love yard sales but havent been in a few years. I was suprised Al let me go and went with me. Couldnt find a walker but bought a toy box for the grand kids toys. It was made out of an old wine barrel. It was absolutely darling and they had it marked at $150 on Friday and marked it down to $75. I offered $50 and they sold it to me.. Its so cute. When there are no more grandkids, or if I never get any, I will take it outside and plant flowers in it.. It would be so cute.Al and his granddaughter and I went shopping after that. I had bought a new bedroom set over a month ago and just got the new matresses and so we went looking for a comforter set, pillows and blanket and all that fun, expensive stuff. We went to Kohls first and saw a couple cute ones but I wanted matching throw pillows, sheets, blankies etc. etc. They only had one that had all the things I wanted that I kinda sorta liked so we decided to shop around. We went to Dillards, Sears, Bed bath and beyond, Jc Penney, and some other stores and I couldnt find anything that I really liked. While we were in the mall, I carried baby Lily for quite awhile until I was exhausted and my back was killing me, also my foot that I fell on at the cabin. I never had it x rayed but now Im thinking I should of. We went for six straight hours hitting all the stores. I dont like to shop so this was quite a few hours for me. We ended up going back to Kohls. I bought the one I wasnt sure of and had to pull apart the display to get everything that I wanted.. Oh well, guess they will have to make a new display. The only reason I wasnt sure was because it was a green color and I hate green but it was a nice green so I got it. We then went to a store that Hollie, Als grand daughter wanted to go to that had things made out of metal and rod iron. It was a wonderful store. I found a gorgeous mirror and wall hangings that I wanted but decided to wait until today to go get them cause I wanted to make sure I was going to keep the bedding and that it looked good on the bed before I spent another $500 on the mirror and wall hangings. But I did buy a cute metal bike that you can put flowers on outside. You can put flowers on the seat, in the front basket and on the pedals. It is rustic red and was darling. It was $130 though and Al said not to get it but I did anyway. I was in the mood to spend my kids inheritence.. lmao.. All in all except for the pain it was a wonderful day.Went home and we put all the stuff on the bed and the curtains up.. It is absolutely beautiful. The bed and everything looks like something you would find in an expensive home.. Every time I walk into that room it brings me so much happiness. I will have to learn how to get pics on here and show you.. It is awesome.. Sunday we had a barbeque and Ryan and Millie and Dakota came over. Dakota brought me his pooter as I had bought him a new one and he finally set it up at my house.. Wahoooo I can do evening DS.. Cant wait.. Barbeque was great and Ryan and Millie loved my bedroom and the toy box and the bike.. It was a nice day.. Glad to be feeling better except the back pain and foot pain.. Going to pain doc today.. Hope they give me good drugs to help until I figure out what else to do. I have already had a two level fusion on my back so I just dont know what else they can do for it.. Oh well. At least Im feeling better. I love you all. Thanks for stopping by to check on me.. Im going to get caught up on all your journals. I am truley blessed to have you all for friends.. It makes life worth living.. Thank you so much.. God bless you all. And if you dont believe in him then thats ok too. I still love you all. Thanks for being here for me.
