The Walking Machine

Because I have been unable to tackle the hilly walk to the main road for awhile I decided to invest in a walking machine.I've decided to rent at first to see if I can sustain the effort so I contacted a hire place and yesterday went in and tried it out. Despite my visions of sliding off one end I did quite well so I said I'd take it. That was the easy part. It isn't a huge financial outlay but I was given 2 forms to fill out. The first one has all my personal ID. For some reason we have to prove we own our home and I have to provide 5 credit references. Five !  I just want to hire a walking machine - I dont want to buy a f***ing mercedes.
