the waiting game
Well, the waiting game has begun! My hubby and I have both met with our Dr.'s and we have one more series of tests to go through before we can move forward with an infertility clinic. My hubby has to do 2 more sperm exams. He was checked for veins and everything is fine on his side... (well, asides from his motility of course!)
I have to complete a test (don't remember the name) where they insert a camera in my bellybutton and check for irregularities. Dr. said that they find some 1 out of 5 times. Hopefully, I won't be the 1!!!
So, that should bring us to the summer or beginning of fall when we'll meet with our infertility specialist. Looking forward to seeing what we can do about all this - and what it will cost us! Here in Qc. health care costs are ALL covered (thank God). A month ago, the Government just announced that he would being paying for 3 rounds in IVF! That's been the good news in all this mess!

glad things are moving forward. The waiting seems to take forever, I know. I won\'t start an IVF cycle until June, probably --> maybe we\'ll end up going around the same time!
thats great that its covered with insurance!!? Mine was covered too and let me tell you it made it alittle less stressfull to know i didnt have to pay as much! Good luck with everything keep usupdated.
We have free health-care here. We never pay when we go to the hospital (kind of like what Obama is instilling in the US right now. It\'s great BTW). Will keep you posted when the visits are officially started!
Wishing you the best of luck. Keep faith . HUGS Message me if you have any thoughts, questions as your journey progresses. I will help you all I can. I hope your stay here is short:)
I am feeling lucky that my health insurance covers some fertility treatments. This stuff can get pricey. Seems like Canada has the right idea, wish we could get on board here in the US. one good thing about my benefits from work is they will reimburse up to 10,000 in adoption costs too. Just in case.
Good news about the funding! Hope the rest of the test come back ok.
