The very first step

Yesterday, I posted my message. It was the first time in my life, at which I made the statement "I am a compulsive liar", admitting that my problem is out of my own control and power. I was asking for advice where I should and could start to tackle my problem. I was suprised to see that I had three responses to my post, reporting similar patterns of behavior, which have been causing so much trouble.
The teamDS recommended (1) to join  a group, (2) to write a journal, and (3)meet people and to make friends. I joined the Liars Anonymous group, ant today I started my journal. My feelings are that taking the first two steps has been opening a door to a path that offers help and sympathy. However, I am not able to see where the path will lead, but just finding fresh hope.

Today, I did some reading that I found at overeaters anonymous. It was called \"just today\", and I foud it extremely useful. It presents some principles, such as
- Try to live through this day only, and do not try to tackle the whole life problem at once.
- be happy just for today.
- strengthen your mind through studying to learn something useful, just for today.
- just for today have a program that I try to follow.

After reading this I realized that I have always been trying to eliminate my deficiencies at one point in time, and now I see that I have to move forward step by step, one small step every day.
