The Truth
I have been reading Edward Kennedy's book, True Compass. In it his Moms speaks after a loved one's death, she quotes: "It has been said that time heals all wounds, I don't agree. The wounds remain. Time-the mind,protecting it's sanity---covers them with some scar tissue and the pain lessens, but it is never gone." I truly believe this to be THE TRUTH....

So do I~~I think time makes the wounds turn into scabs and then scabs into scars~~but the scar is forever there and at times ache...deep within that scared heart...But it does let up from the pain now and then and life goes on...Love you!!
I believe that too-somehow we learn to go on, but the pain never really is gone...not in this world, anyway. Sue
