The To Do List
The good news of the morning is that the Toxic Trigger I have been sorting isnae much more than head chatter between the items on my To Do List. I am saluting the nag flag, but holding steady between salutes. Setting up a semi-permanent base camp in a new region, however familiar, has allot of petty details attached, even without the delapidated out-building I have been imagining as an aeroponics lab.
Having a To Do List is a pretty big shock to my system, all by itself. For sure I havenae had one since March when I began the funeral pilgrimage for Big Bro. The months since then have been too losely structured for To Do Lists that I could take seriously.
It has been a productive week. Nothing dramatic or even conversation worthy. Just a reasonably consistent pace down a tedious list of odds and ends, from learning local laws to finding local resources to cleaning out cabinets to placing hooks to getting to know the landscape.

good morning... enjoy doing the to do. my personal to do list this time of year is to watch the trees chance their colors, this year has been warm enough that the trees are not doing their usual fast change and shed. I have seen touches of color and some shed, my favorite green to bright yellow trees have not awed me yet this year. does nature have a to do list it is not doing.
Vermont it ain't, but the oaks and maples here are doing far more of a color show here than I have ever seen in Texas. I go with the camp which says there are only two seasons in the sub-tropics: Summer and August. After 37 years in the sub-tropics (not counting the 1.5 years on the Equator), I feel like I am seeing season changes for the first time.
