The Tinker's Dam
Tiggy is officially legal again. I feel reasonably secure that the psychotic episode triggered by his remediation is stable. Reasonably. Again I wish for a physical test to measure the passing of a psychotic episode. Just wishing while I work with what's available. I am still stalling out at the jobsite, uncertain whether to head up to the River Region on my own or keep working the projects here. The projects here are holding my interest well enough to feel okay about staying put for now. I've taken to calling the proposed mechanic bay in the big barn, "The Tinker's Den." Mechanic bay sounds too much like a corporate sweatshop.
Hubs is officially telecommuting now. I am still uncertain if that means anything to my daily inventory, or not. Theoretically, it opens up global travel potentials, but . . . Who knows what will actually leak through the cracks in a busy person's ego-centric busies? Is there a more impenetrable unavailability than, "I'm busy?" Again I wonder how it came to be that I have invested so many years waiting for scraps of attention from a chronically busy soul. Sorta. . . I have physically explored watersheds on two continents while I waited, plus internet research on the remaining continents.
Off to the Tinker's Dam for now. This morning should complete the floor leveling and reconstruction of the tools I shuffled to the side for the sake of putting in the new sheets of OSB plywood which now hold the work bench. Weather permitting, I might even tweak the experimental horehound field to its next best guess. In my personal measure, cloud cover would be "Weather Permitting." The sun is still stong enough to bake the skin off of a potato here on the Southern Great Plains.

Keeping busy is a good thing I think. A mind needs to be engaged like an engine engaged to a transmission then to the wheels on the road.
Can I take your metaphor as a sign that Pumpkin got her initiatory road trip?
Whatever inspired the analogy, I'm saluting respectfully. Amen Brother, I say unto thee, Amen.
Hugs Arfie! I’m keeping busy too and it’s nice to feel productive again. Best wishes today!
Yeah, busy is a plus for sure when sorting and healing are abound. Thats why I’m painting my fence. Therapeutics 101. And exercise and hormones and all that good stuff too. Triple hugs arfie
Oct 5th and 6th I will be saying yes to Michigan with Pumpkin :-)
