The Time is Near

Got the call yesterday that my insurance company approved they surgery.  I am so excited about this.  It means that six plus months of working to get to this point has paid off.  I am so looking forward to feeling better and getting healthy once again.  I am pretty well prepared for the whole thing to happen.  I have a great support system set up and feel very confident in my success.  I am sure there are people who are going to try and bring me down  but that will be fine because they will not need to be in my life.  The only part of the whole thing is that I really don't want to be away from my son that long.  I wish that the surgery could take place here in our local hospital instead of two hours away.  My blood sugar levels have been going wild and the last few days I am finally getting them under control.  I got a flu and pneumonia shot today so that my system will be stronger for the surgery.  I am walking every day so that I can be stronger for the surgery.  I am looking forward to becoming a new me.  I have plans for after surgery to walk a lot and as soon as I am released from the surgeon to do so I am going to start attending the local water zumba classes that are offered at the local pool.  As I progress in losing the weight and gaining the strength I will change up what I do.
