The Thailand Privilege Visa

If you are one of the few foreigners who plan to make Thailand your home for a long time, then you probably heard about the country’s privilege visa. This country membership program, also known as Privilege Entry Visa, offers multiple benefits to its members who qualify.

The privilege visa is a multiple-entry visa that allows its holders to stay in Thailand for up to five years or in line with their passport expiry date. It also enables them to extend their stay in Thailand without the need to apply for a re-entry permit. The visa is available for citizens from various countries.

There are a number of different packages to choose from. The programs have varying lengths of membership validity and differ in membership fee and benefits. They range from the Elite Easy Access to the Elite Ultimate Privilege. The package you choose will depend on the amount of money you can invest in Thailand, and also your own needs.

Aside from the visa itself, there are a few other perks that come with being a member of the Thailand elites club. These include priority queues at the airport, and concierge services to assist with immigration processing upon arrival. Moreover, you will be given assistance with opening a bank account, and getting your driving license. You will also be given assistance with business and investment plans.

Among the many other benefits of being a member of the Thailand elites, one of the most notable is that you will not have to worry about visa runs and visa conditions. In addition, you will be able to enjoy unlimited re-entry for the duration of your membership, which is from 5 to 20 years. The program will even cover the cost of affixing the visa to your passport.

However, there are some requirements you must meet before you can be considered as a member of the Thailand elites club. For starters, you must have an excellent credit rating, and you must be of good moral character. You will also need to be a citizen from a country that is on the list of countries that have diplomatic relations with Thailand. Moreover, you must be a law-abiding citizen of the country where you live, and you must have a stable source of income.

Lastly, you must be financially capable of investing at least 1 million baht. You should also have no criminal records. Besides, you must not have an overstay record in Thailand. You will not be eligible for the privilege visa if you have any prior visa violations or are a fugitive. Those with an overstay record will be required to pay a fine of 100,000 baht or more for the first offense and 200,000 baht or more for subsequent violations. You must also not be employed by a Thai company. Moreover, you must not hold a work permit in Thailand. You will also not be eligible for the privilege visa if your spouse is a Thai national or you own a large business in Thailand.Thailand privilege visa
