The tale of Finlay
Hi Everyone,
Last week I was coming home from work, I got off the bus and walked up to the corner to cross over towards home. I look down and see a stuffed money lying face down near a scooter. I wasn't sure what to do, so I figured I'd put the monkey on the scooter, thinking whoever lost it would come back. The next day, when I was coming home from work, I see a flier on the light pole with a picture of the monkey. 'Finlay' belongs to an 18 month old boy who was very upset his friend is missing. I felt badly that I didn't take the monkey back home with me. About a week later I was hoping that the monkey would be found, but I saw another flier on the otherside of the street. I called the # and spoke to the grandmother, I explained to her that I saw the monkey and left it there. I figured one of the university students might have taken him. And suggested she post more fliers by the school. She appreciated my suggestion. I was at work on Weds and in the afternoon I got a text from her and she told me that someone had put the monkey by the pole and another person called her and told her about it. SO Finlay is back home where he belongs. She thanked me for helping. I also took the fliers down and told her, she said she was going to do that the next day and thanked me for helping.
So I felt good that it had a happy ending. :D Just thought it would be nice to share something positive, for a change.

It was nice of u to help and also I’m glad the boy got his stuffed monkey back. One time my son lost his toy when I was walking him in his stroller and he must had dropped it. It was one of his favorite toys but we never found it. It’s upsetting when we lose a toy so glad u helped the boy find his toy.
Yay...I love stories with happy endings! I'm glad that Finlay found his way back to his rightful owner, with your help. Hugs!
