THE SUN IS OUT! IT'S NOT RAINING!
It was rather depressing around here because of the dreary weather holding pattern we were in and have been in for weeks. Average temps this time of year is around 70. We've had mid-40 temps and continuous rain - NON-STOP! This morning I woke up to clouds and more rain. Now I'm seeing the sun peaking out! I know it's temporary. More rain predicted but at least it's supposed to get into the 50's today and eventually get warmer.
That's how life can be sometimes. We get stuck in a depressing holding pattern and at times it feels like there's no end in sight and then........ the sun comes out! If we remind ourselves every now and then that "the sun will come out tomorrow" we are reminding ourselves that there's hope. Faith is knowing that it will. For we know it can't rain forever.
Having said that, I feel for those poor families that have lost their homes because of all the flooding. And also for the people who lost their lives and homes because of the tornadoes. Even though it is on a much larger scale and their losses will take a much longer time to recover. I pray that they will have hope and the faith to see that God will see them through this horrible time.
