The stress! The stress!
I was listening to the radio this morning, and they were talking about a recent survey where folks of all ages were saying how stressed out they were about this economy. Interestingly, it wasn't just white-collar office workers - it was retirees, high school students and even kids - basically everyone is really, really freaked out. This is a scary time, and if you're like me, you internalize it. I flip-flop between thinking it'll all be OK and then wondering if the lights will go on when I hit the switch. I can't help but have visions of a post-apocolyptic America when no one has cash and we all fight like dogs. But then I see cars on the road, and restaurants open for business, and I'm back again. Argh. I think we all long for answers. The worst part is the unknown - what will happen to my job? What will happen to my savings? It's hard....really hard. I hope all of my friends are doing ok, as this stuff can hurt bad.
