The Shower Scene
Sleep has been a struggle with me for as long as I can remember. Growing up in an alcoholic home could have something to do with it. So much uncertainty as to the atmosphere I would be sleeping in? Where ever the seeds of insomnia began they have grown into a full blown issue that I have learned to live with. Last night, as I was letting my mind wander in an attempt to slip into deep sleep, I ended up in the shower. No, not literally. In my mind I watched as my hand slid back the glass shower door and I paused mid step to get in. HE was there. Ron's back was to me, his head under the water washing his hair. That back, those broad shoulders, the tattoo on his left bicep, and he turned to look at me. Over his shoulder he looked...and smiled. I wasn't dreaming because the flood of emotion that filled me instantly brought me to tears. I really miss that man.

Sometimes those glimpses of memory can be so hard to deal with. Sending you Love and Hugs.....
I\'ve had similar dreams, and the way I know they are real is that when I wake up it feels like I have been hit by an electrical current. Just vibrating and tingling all over. I have experienced it 2 or 3 times and the first time I thought I was having a heart attack. I do believe they come to us in our dreams and that is what happened to you. A gift. Take care, Jeff
I have experienced it too. In time you will find it brings you peace, at least it does me. Knowing that he is nearby is wonderful. Sharon
Today marks 9 yrs. since my husband Sam died. I have moved on & remarried 5yrs ago.. However, I think of him every day. I hope one day you can find peace...
