The Search is over

I have work.

I was perusing craigslist and saw the ad that had been placed not more then 2 hours previous. There it was. Mold injection, just my type of work. It's not hard, will be busy with documenting and sorting plus math (Eekk!) and standing, which is ok now.

Training begins Monday. 8 hours a day till they decide if I am capable then I'm on my own. $12 an hour, but when they know I'm good, then there's swing $12.25 and grave $12.50. I know some would want 10-15% differential, but they pay low but when or if hired then it rockets up to $14-$17 an hour. Depends on time in position also....

I just had one agency call me and I happily turned them down. The job wouldn't have been too different, but way farther and so I save gas. Having a gas hog, it helps a lot. Round Trip is about 8 miles. One way to the other place would have been 11.8 miles.

Well, I am in a good mood, now I just have to prove to them I'm worth keeping.

I feel so blessed. Have had many praying for me to get a job. Truly what B. Franklin said seems to ring true. "God helps those who help themselves"

The funny thing is I got one job offer when I first was typing the above out and just got another offer of an interview. Did I do the wrong thing accepting this job? I don't believe so. Those other offers were "Proposed" so nothing firm. What I have now is firm. Bird in the hand thinking here.
