The Rescue...
Something interesting has taken place in the news within the past couple of weeks, the Captain who was being held hostage was rescued on the Sunday that corresponded to the memorial of Yeshua's (Jesus') Resurrection. These are some of the observations made on this event, the Captain did something which mirrors to a degree what Our Lord did for us. The Captain offered himself in place of the crew, that ensured safe passage back home for them. The hostage incident ends with the intervention of a rescue team of three, the fate of those whose intent was to steal, kill, and destroy is written in one of the last pages in the book of Revelation. The rescue was completed in a year where the date "coincides" with the Hebraic dating of Yeshua's Resurrection as well as the popular early Roman (325 A.D.) instituted dating of the same. The Resurrection, a defeat over death, was in itself the greatest hostage rescue event of all times!

In the book of Hebrews, there is an added piece of information that makes it even more interesting:
\"For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.\" Hebrews 2:10
Notice that Our Lord is referred to as \"the captain of their salvation\"... found this after posting the above journal entry. Thanks for the blessing, Our Father\'s Love!
