The Ramblings Of A Rogue Polyamorist

This journal compliments the stuff I do over at Polyamory Today. So some subjects will cross-over or be duplicated. I'm not sure exactly what will end-up on here, but the thing I'm going to start out with is the subject of polyanarchy, not to be confused with relationship anarchy, but instead associated with the approach to polyamory that is so indiscriminate that it can mean whatever anyone wants it to mean.

For these people monogamy, polygamy, swinging, and polyamory don't exist under their own umbrellas, and any questioning of that attitude is met with immediate disapproval and in some cases expulsion from their group or discussion. Are these people for real? Meaning do they really believe this, or are they agents of dischord sent by some churchy moral watchdog committee? I don't know, but it's curious how this polyanarchy sentiment seems to be entrenched at the social media gateways.

Anybody else run into them? One of their mantras is the "No True Poly-ing" commandment, which sanctions anyone who tries to have a conversation about where the polyamory umbrella ends, and others begin. That entire conversation has become off-limits. Why? What's really going on? What can we do? Last time I checked, truth was still a virtue. These people have made it crime equivalent to bullying. If you believe you're part of the polamory community. It's time to get involved in this discussion!
