The quiet art of not spending money
in my darkest days, I used to look at people who i knew had money, and just went about their lives, no need to spend it, it never "burned" a hole in their pockets, they would waste the day away doing nothing, or just lunch, etc, retiring satisfied in their night/sleep with a full bank account waiting for them upon waking up
i had alot of money, ALOT, i did....
what is it with MONEY???????????????????????????????
i'm learning to quietly allow the days pass and not spend my money, truth be told, im not a be spender, HA...as most gamblers are we dont really care for much
so i learn to be still and quiet and allow the minutes to pass naturally and not say HEY you xxx go out and get some fun on, youre are ok now...
strange days indeed

Hi Meagan, that\'s an interesting journal. I, myself, have been having a hard time not buying things on Amazon. Since I quit gambling I have been spending money like crazy on there! I always justify it by saying -I never buy anything that isn\'t on sale. Anyway, I would like to suggest a book to you. It is called Lost and Found, One woman\'s story of losing her money and finding her life. The author is Geneen Roth.It is a lot about our relationship with money. I have a weird relationship with money. I think it\'s like you say here. It tends to burn a hole in my pocket. Anyway, I hope you are doing well. hugs, ~Estel
