The PPT from Hell

Yesterday I went to my son's post-suspension PPT with the main intent of revisiting his IEP. What it turned into what a first-class nightmare that turned my entire life upside-down.
Long story short: because my daughter had gone to the school social worker & told her everything that had ever gone on at home (even from years ago), the staff is now wondering if it's even safe for my son to be in the school. So they called an outside agency to come who sent another social worker who still was not qualified to give that guaranty & had to set up something with a psychiatrist next week. But that's not all. Because of all that, I had to sign all these forms for them. And my son is (at least temporarily) re-suspended until the psych gives the go-ahead to come back--if he gives the go-ahead. If not, then they say that some kind of home-based thing has to be done. I said I can't do that--I work! (And when H isn't working, I don't think he'd cooperate, either.) I was also worried that DS may "shut down" if not allowed to stay. We are so close to having him graduate--it's just a few months!
So if that's not enough, the school social worker tells me that she's gonna have to involve DCF. Well, that's the end! Although she said they may look further into it, and they may not. All the while she's framing this like it's gonna be the greatest thing in the world. Not if you have an irrational H who will absolutely balk at all these psychs & possibly the DCF. And who is he gonna blame? Yeah, that's right, me. AS IF I can do ANYTHING about all this...
As it was last night, he was trying to pump me for information & I was just to tired to answer. Also, I know he doesn't just want the information except to yell at me how the school doesn't know anything, they're crazy, etc etc. This does not help anyone. I went to bed early last night because I was so tired & was nursing a headache. And he goes & sleeps in the attic once again. (Not a punishment for me--I don't have to hear his snoring!)
Well, one saving grace in all this is that my boss has been extremely flexible with me in all this; I'm able to take the time I need to take care of all this.
I'm just hoping & praying that they let my son back in school & that DCF will decide against looking into things. But I'm afraid to even get my hopes up & worry that it's all going to get worse before it gets better.
