The pit
saw a lovely quote the other day, something like "you're the pit I spend all day avoiding, but can't help but fall into when I sleep"
Somerging along those lines, it got me thinking about all the fears of detachment and future thought. The anxieties around what happens next, my future, will I ever find love again. And I know that love is really separation, that letting go is the kindest way to treat yourself, that letting go is the path to self love, but it troubles me future thought it weighs heavy and creeps out of the dark corners at night.
The days are filled with filling the pit with exercise, work, meditation, friends and a million more distractions, yet that empty space where we once dwelled remains empty. Today is peaceful, all be it a joyless peace ❤️️
