The Perfect Bed For *One*
Do they make one? I have had several opportunities to date recently -- disregard them, not even a second thought. I do not venture too far - - turn down party invites, chances to meet/make new friends and re-visit old ones. Some sort of integrity - - this is not a given, a result of self-discipline, inner trust, relentlessly honest. I have always been a risk taker, casting off fears of rejection and derision - - discovering serenity. Ohhhhh, the truth -- and the quiet we discern all truths. The edges are softer, experience - - when guided by truth. How much easier every decision, every choice, when committed myself to a course of total honesty.I will sleep on my old Army cot for awhile.... yes, the perfect bed for one.... I found my sofa is also a perfect bed for one.. which is probably why I sleep down there and not up in my room..

Only connect! That was the whole of her sermon. Only connect the prose and the passion, and both will be exalted, and human love will be seen at its height. Live in fragments no longer. Only connect...
TRUST AGAIN... after MY ex\'s affair is a big one for ME! You need to heal the hurt... rebuild the trust... and feel love once again. Your a smart man! Besides you don\'t have to worry about anyone stealing the covers! lol
Thanks good friends for your thoughts. Just sitting on the deck watching the muddy Little River run into the muddy New River which will eventually run into the sea -- clean and clear... Loneliness can be rewarding at times.., so ready to float...
With first dates, have I told you my Terri Gross theory? Do you like her? \"Fresh Air\" on npr? I feel like her. I have been on so many first dates where I\'m just Terri Gross, not really a hope for connection after the first half a minute. I don\'t think that\'s bad. A well-suited mate is a *rare* thing, but worth looking for.
I think right here you sound like a good mix of risk and protection, of getting out there/staying home. this is hard for me, right now I just want to stay home, but with this rain, it is delicious.
rooting for you ~~~
I am ready to float too. divine bouyancy.
You will know when it is time to swim my friend.. Just remember the river and its lessons and soon that time will come to be.. Love and hugs, Kimmee
Solitude is very refreshing.
Sweet Mark.......solitude indeed IS wonderful....enjoy it. Life is so simple, yet we make it so complicated. Cocoon yourself in your warmth..... A bed for one sounds perfect! And yes, no blanket steeling!
This was very enlightening... thanks.
great entry, meddle! I wish I had a bed for one..
