The painful truth

Generally lately, I don't know I've been ok I guess considering how bad I've been.
For me, that's good news.
I came back on here to reply to a really good friend. But when I was about to sign out, I thought I'd check my support groups to see if others are doing ok. I always go to the ones without replies already because I think everyone should have a reply to their post.
It makes me really sad seeing how young all these teenagers are on here. I know I'm only 17, and I was also 13/14 when I first started cutting and realised I had depression. But it's just so surreal and hard to see that depression is still multiplying in so many young teens and it's not something they should be worrying about above everything else in their individual lives.
I just, it's so hard reading about them hurting themselves and being as distraught and upset as I have been and still am and I just really hope that they make it through it. I don't know exactly how I did it but it's so important they keep fighting that's all I can say. Especially if you're reading this thinking - Who is this chick?, what is she talking about?, What is she doing?.
Please don't let anxiety, or depression or whatever is hurting you - beat you. You deserve so much better and to be happy and it's so important (Yes, I'll repeat that word because it's true) that you win.
Depression should not rule your life.
Kick it's ass.
(Please, and thank you.)
But no seriously. Not just for yourself, but for everyone else suffering. You can help them get through it, you can be there with them as they go through it. You can show them that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not the light after you die (if there is one).
It's right here and now in your life.
I usually don't post these publicly, but it's awfully important, so here we gooo.
